207 Leads Peugeot Sales
Sales in October of the Peugeot 207 increased by 64% over the previous year giving the French car maker confidence of finishing 2009 on a high note.
Peugeot new car sales forged ahead 36% overall with new van sales also seeing an increase of 23% on the previous year.
Sales of the recently facelifted 308 also increased by 21% helping significant growth in what has been an overall good year for the car industry.
Last month saw the launch of the Peugeot 3008 Crossover. Priced from £15,995 on-the-road, it offers choice for customers who are looking for something different. Whether they drive a conventional saloon car, MPV, SUV or a hatchback.
Peugeot also returned a fantastic result in light commercial vehicles. In a market down over 18% Peugeot LCV sales were up 23% helped by a very strong performance from the Peugeot Partner.
